Book Hauls

October 2019 Book Haul

Salutations Chapterlings! I finally got my October book haul up and like I always say, better late than never! It has been far too long, but you already know the story behind that. If you’re new to this blog then welcome! The short version to that long story is I’ve been dealing with a lot of chaos and negativity in my personal life so it’s had an impact on my reading and getting blog posts up. There was also the matter of the holiday for the month of November and there’s been a lot of overwhelming things happening. So I’m sorry this has happened far too late to my liking, but it’s finally getting posted!

And finally getting posted it is indeed! It’s not a super big haul, but a fairly decent sized haul. I was blessed with so many amazing books for the month October and I’m so thankful that I get to share these books with all of you. I don’t want to take too much time gushing and such, but I do have to do a little gushing. I am incredibly blessed to have many wonderful and lovely friends in the book community who have opened their hearts to me. I’m truly blessed and so grateful for each and every one, but one of my friends was just an absolutely incredible soul. My friend Dani, check her out on her Instagram, ended up going to a Leigh Bardugo signing event and she ended up with an extra copy of Ninth House. I had been missing every opportunity to pick up a copy and when she mentioned she had an extra copy, I told her that I would love the copy. She was so kind to have Leigh Bardugo personalize it for me and I’m just truly grateful for her, her friendship, and for her being in my life. I had to put that out there to the world. Now that I’m all sappy and soft, on to the books!

Book Hauls

August 2019 Book Haul

Salutations Chapterlings! It’s time for my monthly book haul, again! August has come and gone, and so has the month of relaxation and recovery. However, I took that month to definitely cut back on the amount of books I was pulling in. That means I was dodging BookOutlet like the plague! I resisted all the sales… for the most part until my own job snagged me. But that’s a different story for another day. Bottom-line is this month has been really calm for hauling books. It’s a bit surprising, but I definitely feel like it’s the same amount as last month’s haul. Okay, enough chi-chat, let me show you the books that I got for the month of August!

🌻 Book Subscription Boxes

🌻 House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig

🌻 House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A. Craig

🌻 The Girl from the Other Side: Siuil a Run by NAGABE | ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

🌻 Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
🌻 White Stag by Kara Barbieri

Okay, friends! Those are all of the books I acquired during the month of August! As I said, August was a very calm month for reading and book buying. But don’t worry, this fall is probably going to have a lot more books flowing onto my haul list because all the books are being released the next two months. So stay tuned for all the books that may be appearing soon! But please let me know down below some of the books you acquired during the month of August. And of course, may your book hauls be mighty, I love you! ❤️

July 2019 Book Haul

This is going up a little later than I anticipated, but after the end of July, I’m a little burned out! But we’re not here to talk about feeling like the dead, we’re here to talk about books! Yes books, all the books! Surprisingly, July has been a fairly calm month for books. I mean, for the first time in a long while, I haven’t gone buck wild with getting a lot of books. It’s surprising, very surprising. Granted, two packages still have yet to arrive, but I’m going to loop them in with my August book haul. So, without any further distractions and chit-chat, here are the books that I have gathered up from the month of July.

🌻 Books from Publishers

🌻 No Judgments by Meg Cabot
🌻 Boundless by R.A. Salvatore
🌻 There Will Come A Darkness by Katy Rose Pool
🌻 The Nanny by Gilly MacMillan

🌻 Book Subscription Boxes

🌻 All of Us with Wings by Michelle Ruiz Keil

🌻 Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim

🌻 Purchased Myself

🌻 Pan’s Labyrinth: The Labyrinth of the Faun by Guillermo del Toro & Cornelia Funke
🌻 The Storm Crow by Kalyn Josephson
🌻Every Heart A Doorway by Seanan McGuire

Okay, Chapterlings! That wraps up all the books I hauled in the month of July! As I said, not that many books at all especially when compared to past hauls! Definitely a nice change of pace and a decrease in my purchasing habits. Not looking forward to the fall when my wallet will be hating me for days on end. Anyway, let me know some of the interesting titles you picked up in July! I would love to know and who knows, maybe we’ll hatch a plan for a buddy read! Until next time; may August be filled with five star reads, I love you! ❤️

Book Outlet Haul

It feels like a super hot minute since I bought anything from BookOutlet! Well…actually…this haul should have been posted back in June, but the package didn’t officially arrive until the beginning of July. And I did just recently order another book from BookOutlet… So here we are…again! At this point I’m surprised no one has said, “Malli…you have an addiction and this is your intervention meeting.” Is anyone really surprised by my actions anymore, I don’t think so. Anyway, I have a few new books that I recently got from BookOutlet that I want to share with all of you. I did do an unboxing back at the beginning of July on my Instagram, but now we’re in the middle of July and it’s time that I share with all of you the books that have fallen into my lap. Okay, Chapterlings! That was a lot! To be honest, I could have gotten so much more, but that would be a massive haul! However, I hope some of these titles captured your attention like they did mine! I’m very excited to read some of these titles and I’m currently planning them all out. But please let me know in the comments below some of the titles BookOutlet has made you purchase or tell me which of these titles you’re most interested in reading! Until next time, may your month be filled with wonderful reads, I love you! ❤️

May 2019 Book Haul

I feel like I’ve said this before, but May was a crazy month! Family, a birthday, discussions of moving, book club hosting and more! Hello Chapterling and welcome back to my blog! It’s that lovely time again when I come and show you all the books I acquired over the month of May. I am absolutely in awe and so grateful to have been blessed with many books this month! One of these books will not be featured in this post (mostly due to forgetting to even put it in my photos). However, this book will be appearing in two other posts and if you follow me on social media you will probably see me talk about it often for this month. Well, enough chit-chat and let me show you some books!

Before I get started, I want to give special thanks to my spouse. I was blessed with a very kind and loving person who gifted me a shopping spree at Barnes & Noble for my birthday. Without that wonderful gift, most of these books wouldn’t even be in this monthly haul right now. I’m very thankful for my spouse being in my life and supporting my love for books in anyway they can. It means the world to me and if by some chance they’re reading this right now…THANK YOU, I LOVE YOU! ❤️

🌻 Purchased Myself

🌻 Birthday Goodies

Okay, friends! That about does it for this haul! There were so many wonderful books that I obtained this month! I couldn’t have done part of this haul without the help of my spouse. I’m so grateful and blessed to have had this wonderful opportunity happen. I hope May has brought so many incredible books your way especially with all the new releases! Let me know in the comments below some of the books you acquired this month! Until next time, may June bring us all magical reads!

First Ever Book Outlet Haul!

I can’t believe I have been so fortunate to finally have my first ever BookOutlet. After so many wonderful people talked about their hauls, the amazing discounts, and the wonderful persuasion by some amazing ladies, I finally went and made my first purchase! While this may not be a big deal to many, this was a HUGE deal for me. I have been burned in the past buying discounted books and I was really nervous to even place this order. But thankfully I had some amazing, encouraging, and loving people in my corner who convinced me otherwise. Now I get to share all the incredible books I got with all of you! So sit back, relax and let me show you everything I got!

Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo| Amazon|GoodReads|Barnes&Noble|Thrift Books|Book Depository
Six of Crows Duology Box Set| Amazon|GoodReads|Barnes&Noble|Thrift Books|Book Depository

Okay, Chapterlings! That wraps it up for my first Book Outlet Haul! I’m very thankful and very privileged to be able to order from Book Outlet and that not everyone can order from their site. I’m so blessed that this opportunity even came to happen. I’m very thankful. And before I go, I want to shout-out the wonderful ladies who made this haul even possible. A big thank you to the amazing and wonderful Julith! She just started her blog too, so please go give her some love! But without her advertising for the exclusive Kingdom of Ash copies Book Outlet had available, I probably would have never even went to the site. And not only did she advertise for Kingdom of Ash, but she also advertised for the Six of Crows boxed set! And I couldn’t be more grateful because without seeing those advertisements by her, I would have never snagged one of the box sets! That brings me to my fellow Bookstababe and an amazing lady named Emily! A huge thank you to her because without her constantly boosting the Six of Crows duology, I probably would have never even considered snagging the box set in the first place. But she practically swears by this duology and I don’t know a more lovely human to put my faith in. That just leaves the most magical person I know left! A very special thank you to Melanie or meltotheany! She has talked about Blanca & Roja a few times, from how long I have been following her, and when I saw it on Book Outlet, it was an instant click. If it weren’t for her and her amazing reviews and her boosting books that she absolutely loves, I probably would have never snagged a copy of this book. These ladies are all wonderful and genuinely beautiful souls in the book community. I’m very thankful to be able to interact with them, have conversations with them, and just watch their incredible selves bloom and grow. Please check them out because each lady is so unique in their own way and just a blessing in the book community! That’s it! Thank you all so much to those who encouraged me to buy from Book Outlet and thank you all for reading this book haul! I hope your May is filled with wonderful and amazing books in your own haul! As always, I love you and I’ll see you next time! ❤️
